In Blackjack every player is playing against the dealer. There are many people on the table, but the dealer is playing with only one of them. You have to get cards with value close to 21, but no more than 21. You have to beat the dealer's hand, not only to have 21 points. After first hand is dealt, every player can count low and high cards. And if he subtract one point to or from his running count, depending on the cards, he can count the number of high and low cards that are not dealt. Here are the cards' values: 7,8,9 - 0 Ace,King,Queen,Jack,Ten are high cards -1 2,3,4,5,6 are low cards - +1 A positive running count indicates there are more high cards left in the deck than dealt already. A negative count indicates there are more low cards left in the deck than dealt already.
